O Holy Father, we do thank You because, with Your servant mons. Domenico Pogliani,
You gave us a priest who witnessed Your fatherhood
and who was a living sign of Your Providence.
By his intercession, may our hearts open
to listen to Your Word and to our brothers’ needs.

O Lord Jesus, you made mons. Pogliani
particularly able to understand the mystery of suffering
and guided him to serve You in the poor and in the last.
By his intercession, may we welcome
and love You in our suffering brothers, no matter what their race or their religion is.

O Holy Spirit, creator of sanctification and unity,
You found in mons. Pogliani a docile instrument of Your love.
By his intercession, may we become apostles of Your love
and peacemakers in the present world. Amen.
