COMMUNITY SERVICE BY SACRA FAMIGLIA:
A MAJOR CHANCE TO GROW FROM A HUMAN AND A PROFESSIONAL POINT OF VIEW!
What is Community Service
The Italian Community Service was established by the Italian law 64 on the 6th of March, 2001. It’s mainly a volunteering activity and it’s a chance for young people (18-28 years old) to give a year of their lives for a good cause. It’s an important chance to grow from a personal point of view, but it’s also a major instrument to help the weaker brackets of society.
How to take part
If you are interested in engaging in the personal services (old people and disabled people), after the publication of Community Service notice by the Italian Bureau of Community Service, you’ll be able to choose a project presented by Fondazione Istituto Sacra Famiglia. You’ll find the projects on this website.
Once you choose the project, you’ll need to apply to it by sending the forms you’ll duly find on the website. The forms must be filled in and signed, and you’ll have to send them via registered mail to our address, or you can deliver them by hand to our Volunteering Service Bureau. The application must include your CV, your ID card and your tax code.
We shall contact you for the screening and, in a few months, you’ll be able to begin this experience.
General features of projects
Young people employed for Community Service shall receive 433,80 Euros as monthly remuneration, and Sacra Famiglia shall grant them free board.
The project lasts one year, with a commitment of 1,400 hours, including the training ones.
